Body Building Supplement

The Best Body Building Supplement Bar None

When it comes to the subject of what is the best body building supplement, different people will provide different responses and answers. This is understandable, as different people have different workouts and different goals. Common supplements that many people have used include Creatine, Andro, and Nor-Andro. Some people have reported quality gains from using these body building supplements.

On the other side of the coin, there have been body building supplements that have a more sinister edge to them, such as now illegal products like Ephedra and Ephedrine and GHB precursors like the incredibly dangerous, but banned in the year 2000 product, Renutrient. Reentrant once inside the body essentially changed into the drug Liquid Ecstasy.

“Some body builders strongly advise the use of body building supplements, others disagree, you will have to do a lot of research and make your own decisions.”

However, there is one body building supplement that has proven itself time and time again as the main body building supplement that virtually no one would ever say a bad word about: protein. Simply put, protein is an absolute must-have for anyone who is either building or attempting to save muscle.

The Biology of Protein

Muscle needs protein in order to grow. When one lifts weights, the intake of protein has a stimulating effect on the muscle tissue and acts as the best muscle enhancement supplement that the body could offer. In terms of saving muscle, if one does an insane amount of cardio (either extremely high intensity or low intensity for an extended period of time) the body will burn all its carb stores and then start burning muscle.

When your body depletes its carbs it will not burn fat exclusively, it will also burn muscle. The protein intake in the form of a body building supplement will help replace any burned muscle.

Now, one can get protein out of chicken or meat, but the problem is that it is not always easy or convenient to get either of these. Plus, meat is loaded with fat. As a body building supplement, a protein shake is easier to acquire than it is to cook meat.

Beware: Sugar Alert!

Beware of protein shakes that are loaded with sugar. Sugar will make you fat quickly, so stick with low sugar content protein body building supplements. Usually, the high sugar protein powders are the flavors that are too good to be true such as “Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough” or “Blueberry Cheesecake.” Avoid this and stick with something more realistic like banana flavored or vanilla flavored. There is also unflavored protein shake powder as well, so one could also take that option. Whatever supplement you choose, remember to choose wisely.
